In an Ocala house, light oak-look laminate covers new underlayment across the kitchen, living room, hallway and pantry, where white kitchen tile and an older wood-look floor used to be. Elsewhere in town, dark cherry-tone boards were pulled up from the bedrooms, and gray rustic wood-look plank was laid to meet the hallway tile.
Tile doesn't always need to go. In a kitchen, laundry room and hallway, the original ceramic was skim-leveled and covered with white and gray stone-look vinyl. Another house lost its stained carpet, right to the slab, and gained beige mottled vinyl across the living area and bedrooms, with brass transition strips at the existing tile.
Two Ocala projects were mostly groundwork: a worn plank floor and beige tile pried up, with the slab scraped and patched, in a bedroom and laundry hallway; and small mosaic tile cleared from a commercial restroom to bare concrete. Ocala is roughly an hour and a half from Orlando, and a call ahead lets us fit the trip into the calendar. Larger jobs, such as new floors for a whole house, are the kind we travel farthest for.
The crew that makes the drive handles everything: removal, prep, installation, transitions and baseboards. Debris rides back to Orlando with them.
Phone ahead with the rooms and their current floors, and we pick a date for a free in-home estimate.

Sometimes. In an Ocala kitchen, laundry room and hallway, the original ceramic was skim-leveled and stone-look vinyl laid on top. That only works if the tile is firm. See vinyl plank over tile.
Yes. Worn mosaic tile was removed from a commercial restroom here, right to the concrete slab. Describe the space when you call. See commercial flooring.
Yes. Ocala installations carry the identical 1-year workmanship warranty we give everywhere.
