In a two-story Winter Garden residence, carpeting was stripped from the loft, the bedrooms, the primary bedroom and a walk-in closet. Pale gray plank runs throughout those spaces and ends at the head of the staircase.
Elsewhere in Winter Garden, the hallway tile stayed. Bedroom carpeting was stripped and mid-brown plank installed, closet included, with a transition at each threshold where plank meets tile.
Horizon West belongs to our Winter Garden coverage. Over in Clermont, a hallway, living room and dining area exchanged carpeting for deep brown laminate.
Upstairs projects usually end at the staircase. Decide early if the treads should match.

Stairs are a specialty of ours. Every step is prepared, then each new tread is pressed into adhesive troweled over its entire surface. Details: stair flooring.
That's planned from the start. In the Winter Garden bedrooms shown, plank meets existing hallway tile at each threshold with a transition strip.
Our workmanship carries a 1-year warranty. Boards that lift, loosen or crack because of the installation during that first year get fixed at no charge.
